भ्राता (  brathaa) = Brother

माता ( Maathaa) = Mother

पिता (pithaa) = Father


Origin of Hindi Words from Sanskrit

 जलं (jalam) = जल

दिनं (dinam)= दिन

फलं ( phalam)=  फल

पत्र:( patraha)= पत्ता

रणं (ranam) = रण

पादं( paadam)= पांव


Origin of Malayalam Words from Sanskrit

नारिकेलं (naarikelam)= നാളികേരം

मुखं( mukham) = മുഖം

हस्तः (hasthaha)= ഹസ്തം

रिपुः ( ripuhu) =   രിപു

Malayalam is the mothertongue of Keralaites. Thunjathu Raamaanujan Ezhuthachan is widely regarded as the father of Malayalam language. He had created this language by mixing Sanskrit with  Tamil and a folkal language. 


Both Sanskrit and Hindi shares the common script of Devanaagiri


Sanskrit is the mothertongue of people living at Mathoor Village in the Karnataka state of India.
